An insider's tip
Book overnight stay for 24-hour pool access. A midnight soak under Colorado stars in winter — with snow on the mountains — is one of the great hot spring experiences in North America.
Don't leave without
Work through the temperature gradient: start cool, move progressively hotter, end with a cold plunge in the river. The full circuit takes about 90 minutes.
